Older students introduced the Scratch program to younger students in Slovenia

At OŠ Sveti Jurij, 5.  Grade students transformed into teachers and introduced 4. Grade students the Scratch program.

Students who attended the optional elective computer science course last year, learned the basics of programming. These students have passed on their knowledge to younger students this year.

The students presented the design of the program, showed how the programming was done, and then put the students before the challenge to create their first program themselves.

All the students enjoyed the work, while the younger ones realized that programming can be fun and they are already looking forward to further work. Older students, however, found that their knowledge was useful and that they could help with this.
